Main duties and responsibilities

As the Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating course and program evaluation processes at SSE. This is a central role which has fundamental importance for the development of the school’s academic programs and offerings. The quality coordinator is responsible for various tasks related to quality assurance, which include but are not limited to:

Plan and develop course and program evaluations

  • Development of work procedures surrounding the evaluation process
  • Regular communication with various SSE units regarding the evaluation process
  • Involvement in the technical development of the school’s evaluation system
  • Participation in conferences and workshops to ensure that SSE is informed about the latest trends related to quality assurance

Conduct course evaluations (at bachelor-, master- and PhD-level)

  • Distribution of online surveys to students
  • Management of a database with course information and results from evaluations
  • Distribution of reports in various formats (for example in excel, CSV, word, ppt or pdf)

Handle and store confidential information according to the Data Protection Act

Conduct annual program evaluations

  • Creation and distribution of surveys to students
  • Collection and compilation of quantitative and qualitative data
  • Production of analytical reports
  • Presentations of evaluation results

Qualifications

Required:

  • Academic background
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Swedish
  • Strong technical and analytical skills

Personal qualities:

  • Service-minded, with a proactive attitude and ability to work in a structured way
  • Enjoys networking and speaking in front of larger groups in both English and Swedish
  • Used to work independently and manage own projects

Experience from academic settings, working with Qualtrics and understanding programming languages such as SQL and Visual Basic is a plus.

Program Office

Program Office is one of the Professional Services units at SSE and consists of 15 colleagues who are responsible for processes concerning, admission and introduction. Program Office is also responsible for student exchange, student exchange follow-ups and for providing program support to program directors.
