Are you the person who’s always in the know about the latest developments in the startup ecosystem in Sweden and internationally? Do you have experience working at a fast-growing startup or at a VC? Do you listen to the latest podcasts, read the latest books and tech newspapers?
SSE Business Lab is looking to add another Program Manager to the team, who is deeply embedded in both the Swedish and international startup ecosystems. With your entrepreneurial spirit, you’ll guide early-stage startups as they hustle to achieve growth, traction, and expansion. This is where you can fuel your passion every day, connecting budding entrepreneurs with the right resources, facilitating game-changing workshops, and being their go-to person as they navigate everything from funding challenges to SEO nuances.
This role offers a space to shape, to challenge, and to innovate. Here, you are encouraged to pioneer processes, and with your entrepreneurial insights, help refine our approach to keep our startup success rate sky-high.
Just as in startups, you experiment, learn, problem-solve, and adjust as you go. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This is a role for someone who is a natural problem-solver and doer. You are likely to be described as an autonomous and responsible person, who is eager to learn new things and adapt to new environments. You are flexible, service-minded and enjoy taking initiative and acting on ideas in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial team. We believe that you are a few years into your career, with experience from the startup world and with a strong interest in startups and insights into the ecosystem.
The nature of a startup environment sometimes requires us to be available outside of traditional office hours, while we still strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance for all employees. This means we value adaptability and flexibility, for instance working later one evening and sleeping in another.
SSE Business Lab is a dynamic and challenging work environment where you can develop your skills and where you will be joining a vibrant community of innovators and entrepreneurs who are passionate about creating positive change. Working at SSE Business Lab means being part of a supportive and collaborative team, while also having the freedom to explore your own ideas and take ownership of your projects. You will have a clear mandate to make decisions within your role, and will have a lot of freedom and autonomy to build your own processes.
This is a full-time, permanent position (a 6-month probation period applies). We are looking for this position to begin as soon as possible, and are accepting applications on an ongoing basis. We apply an ongoing selection, so don’t wait to submit your application.
