The Stockholm School of Economics is looking for a structured and creative Project Manager to our Stakeholder and Events Team, that will organize and execute events at the House of Innovation (HOI).

About the position

As part of the Stakeholder Events team, you will play a key role in organizing and executing large and medium sized events at HOI. You will collaborate closely with an established team of two experienced colleagues dedicated to HOI events. The events are highly international and involve various stakeholders.

Your work tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Planning, coordinating and executing some of HOI’s largest and most central events.
  • Hands-on tasks and various ad-hoc tasks related to these events, and other smaller scale events.
  • Liaising with students, faculty, alumni and a variety of departments and external parties.
  • Tasks connected to budgeting and invoicing. No budget experience required.
  • This position will involve work outside of ordinary hours.

 

Your profile

You are likely to be described as a creative, service-minded organizer with strong collaborative and communication skills. You enjoy working in a high-tempo environment, both independently and together with others, and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. When needed, you can make fast decisions and act on them.

Requirements:

  • A few years of experience from similar work tasks and event-related project management
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English
  • Experience with event management systems or similar

Meritorious:

  • Work experience from an academic environment
  • Experience from executing large-scale events
  • Spoken and written Swedish  
  • Academic degree
  • Familiarity with innovation, entrepreneurship and technology topics

 

Other

This is a full-time, time-limited position for approximately 9 months, starting in March 2025. There will be an ongoing selection, so don’t wait to submit your application. Background checks will be conducted on final candidates.
