Are you a driven and experienced salesperson that thrives on building strong relationships with partners? The Stockholm School of Economics is looking for a driven and communicative Partnership Manager to support the Corporate Partnership Program.

In this role you will get the opportunity to work with high-level corporate relations for a meaningful purpose in an international environment. As Partnership Manager you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting new corporate partners to ensure finances of Stockholm School of Economics. You will also be responsible for providing excellent experience for approximately half of our +100 corporate partners, which provide critical financing to the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). This is an exciting and challenging role at one of the highest ranked business schools in Europe.

About the role

The main responsibility of the role is to secure new corporate partners and deepen the relationships with our current partners. You will build strong relationships with the corporate partners by promoting and involving them in various settings within the school such as live projects, case cracking, guest speakers, etc. In addition, the position administrates invoicing for half of the corporate partners. 

In this role, you will be working closely with different people within the organization, such as our existing Partnership Manager, our communications specialist, our career service specialists, and our event project managers. You will be a member of the Corporate Relations and Development team within the External Relations unit at SSE.

Main tasks and goals

  • Identify and recruit new corporate partners
  • Meet with and engage existing corporate partners
  • Participate in partner-related events 
  • Serve as a primary contact to partners
  • Monitor partner engagement and report on their annual interaction with SSE
  • Ensure relevant communication to our partners including the partner newsletter
  • Coordinate partner invoicing

Requirements

  • Experience of client or partnership relations
  • Experience of identifying new corporate partners and engage with existing corporate partners
  • Experience of working with sales in a consultative environment
  • Strong interest and good knowledge of Swedish business sector and the major companies in Sweden
  • Administrative experience
  • Strong communicative skills, with the ability to build relationships and gain trust easily
  • Strong written and spoken English skills
  • Fluent written and spoken communication Swedish skills

Meritorious

  • User experience from a CRM system, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience from working withing academia

Terms

This is a full-time, permanent employment starting with a probationary period of 6 months.  We are looking for this position to begin as soon as possible and are accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
