We are looking for a Librarian who is interested in acquiring, managing and promoting digital content such as databases, e-journals, e-books and other e-media. We offer a meaningful role at one of the top business schools in Europe and an opportunity to be part of an organization with a clear mission, to strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness through scientific teaching and research. In this role, you will gain experience and knowledge from an international work environment filled with talented, innovative, and ambitious people.
The role of the Digital collections and Instruction Librarian is fundamentally collaborative. You will be building cross-departmental collaborations to leverage the expertise of other librarians, staff in professional services and researchers. An understanding of institutional goals as well as funders’, publishers’ and legal requirements on archiving of research output is essential. We are committed to the continuing professional development of our team and work in a medium/small academic library with a large mission. This means that the tasks and responsibilities of our librarians are various and develop according to interests and organizational needs. While the focus of this position is on digital collections and instruction, we encourage candidates who have a broad interest in library services.
In order to be successful in this role, you need to have excellent outreach skills, as well as being service-oriented and interested in user-centered approaches to service development. You thrive in a collaborative environment, while also working independently to structure your work and drive processes forward.
