Main duties and responsibilities

You will be a part of the Student Mobility team, consisting of five colleagues who work closely with student mobility. Your work responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating in- and outgoing exchange students (master’s level)
  • Responsible for the student exchange admission process (master’s level)
  • Contact with partner universities regarding nominations, open exchange spots and contract inquiries (shared responsibility together with the team)
  • Coordinator for various networks
  • Answering student inquiries via email and personal meetings
  • Work with online databases related to mobility
  • Processing scholarship applications which include distributing scholarships and a close contact with the finance department and students

 

Qualifications

An academic background and experience from working with similar work duties are required. You should also have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, basic written and oral skills in Swedish and be comfortable with speaking in front of larger groups. Experience from international settings and experience from working in Mobility Online (student mobility database) are a plus.

In addition, you are driven, persistent and used to being responsible for your own work. You are also detail-oriented, service-minded and technically skilled.

Program Office

Program Office is one of the Professional Services units at SSE and consists of 15 colleagues who are responsible for processes concerning student admission and introduction. Program Office is also responsible for student exchange, student exchange follow-ups and providing program support to the program directors.
