Would you like to join us on our journey and work with student housing? The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is in the midst of an exciting development and digitalization phase. We offer you interesting and varied tasks in an international and dynamic environment. We are now looking for an experienced property manager with great customer focus. 

Student housing is an important strategic part of our internationalization work. In order to attract the best talent from all over the world, we also need to offer student accommodations. We currently have 222 apartments and 300 tenants spread over 7 properties. 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Ensure that housing is allocated and write rental agreements
  • Budgeting
  • Ensure that invoices and payments are sent and claims handled
  • Manage tenants’ moving in and out (including key management and inspection)
  • Manage care and tenant maintenance and well as any renovating, remodeling and furnishing of apartments
  • Contact and negotiation with service providers such as landlords, housing cooperatives, electricity companies, Internet companies, insurance companies, Ikea, Telia, etc.
  • In the long term you will also work on expanding the volume of student housing
  • Develop and digitize the student housing unit in close collaboration with the facilities director

You will report to the facilities director and be part of the internal service group that consists of approximately 10 people. 

Required 

  • Documented experience of property management
  • Negotiating skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
  • Good computer skills and digital confidence

We are looking for you who are used to planning your work independently and who takes a great deal of responsibility. It is important that you feel comfortable supporting decisions and policies to ensure that everyone is treated equally. You are a problem solver with a flexible way of working. It is important that you are responsive and communicative as you will collaborate with many people both internally and externally. You also need to be service minded while ensuring staying within the overall budget.

Additional Information 

  • This is a full-time, permanent position (a 6-month probation period applies). 
  • The position is placed in central Stockholm but includes travel in Stockholm county.
