Main duties and responsibilities  

The role as an Administrative Assistant is broad and flexible, consisting of both administrative and hands-on work tasks. Your primary tasks include course administration, scheduling, grade reporting, updating the course web and being the contact person towards students. The Department of Economics frequently hosts various seminars and other social events and you will be preparing and arranging most of them.  

Qualifications  

You should have experience from an administrative role and have strong oral and communication skills in both English and Swedish. You should also be technically skilled, service minded and have a proactive and flexible attitude. Furthermore, you should have a structured way of working and are motivated by the pursuit of knowledge and improving processes. Experience from working in an academic environment is a plus.   

The Department of Economics  

The Department of Economics is located at the Stockholm School of Economics in the heart of the vibrant Swedish capital, Stockholm. The department consists of 17 faculty members, about 35 PhD students and three administrative positions. You will be part of the administrative team together with two colleagues.

This is a time-limited employment for about a year due to current employee being on parental leave. Preferred starting date is September 1, 2021. Please include your desired salary in your application.
