Internal Communications Manager with interest for project management - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

We are looking for an experienced and structured Internal Communications Manager to manage and drive internal communication work at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). In this role, you will be the one both strategically developing and operatively working with the internal communication work.  

The role

This position will work with managing and developing SSE’s internal communication and communication initiatives that support SSE’s strategies and goals and that drive employee engagement. This position is placed within the Communications team and will work with all departments, units, and teams at the SSE and will report to the Director of Communications and Marketing. No personnel responsibility is included.

Main responsibilities

• Lead the internal communication work and development of internal communication function at SSE.
• Project manager for implementing SSE’s new intranet.
• Manage content for SSE’s intranet, ensuring that it is up to date, engaging and informative.
• Lead and coordinate SSE’s internal staff meeting.
• Production management for printed material such as the Annual Report, brochures etc. (Swedish and English)
• Write and distribute news items and communication material always in tune and on point with SSE’s branding and identity.
• Work with staff and faculty to create communication plans and develop content for employee communication channels.
• Member of steering groups and cross-functional teams, such as SSE Corona Task Force.

Your profile

We are looking for a relationship-oriented and structured communications professional who enjoys working hands-on with strategical and operational questions in a high-paced and ambitious environment. You are a problem-solving and creative self-starter who enjoys managing multiple projects while maintaining a high quality.

Requirements

• Experience from similar work responsibilities, including project management and leading a project group
• Education in communications
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish

• Experience from implementing an intranet
• Experience from working in higher education
• Experience from crisis communication
