The role 

As our new Coordinator, you will be a part of the Admissions team where you will be one of the main contact persons for people who are interested in applying for or starting one of SSE’s bachelor programs. Besides that, you will also be coordinating, organizing, and assisting the BE program as well as providing support in other parts and projects within the Program Office as needed. The work follows the academic cycle and can during periods be intense. Your main work tasks include, but are not limited to: 

Admissions Coordinator  

  • Evaluate and develop work processes for the BSc admission.
  • Communicate with prospective students and respond to internal and external inquiries concerning BSc Admission, at education fairs, through emails, phone, digital-, and in-person meetings.
  • Managing and processing the BSc applications with Universityadmission.se/Antagning.se.
  • Managing, processing, and assessing the BSc applications in the international application round, the quotas Alternativt Urval and Särskilda Meriter.
  • Take part in various retention activities and other recruitment matters, sometimes this can involve work during evenings/Saturdays.
  • Attending various recruitment fairs, internally and externally. 

Program Assistant BSc Business & Economics Program 

  • Organize intro activities, coordinate the intensive preparatory summer course, the Academic Fair - liaising with academic staff, administrative staff, and internal services.
  • Support the B&E Program Management Team with administrative tasks and coordination of meetings.
  • Initiate and organize information seminars, events and meetings, with enrolled students, co-workers and/or the management team on various topics. 

Qualifications 

Since this is a fast-paced environment it is important that you have the ability to maintain structure and keep track of the details. Thanks to your flexible and solution-oriented mindset you see solutions where others see problems. In this role, your ability to collaborate is essential since you will constantly be in contact with people on different levels within and outside of the organization. 

Requirements 

  • Administrative work experience,
  • Experience from attending studies within higher education,
  • Good computer skills, chiefly with Office programs (mainly Excel),
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish.

Meritorious 

  • Experience from student recruitment,
  • An interest in and experience from the education sector,
  • Experience from working in Office 365,
  • Used to working with databases,
  • Experience from working in Full Fabric and/or NyA. 

Terms 

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until the end of January 2023 located in Stockholm. Preferred starting date as soon as possible with the consideration of any period of notice. Given that we are a dynamic organization with a lot going on there might be a possibility to prolong the position.

Program Office 

Program Office is one of the largest Professional Services units at SSE and consists of 27 colleagues who are responsible for processes concerning student assurance, admissions, and introduction. Program Office is also responsible for student exchange, student exchange follow-ups, and providing program support to the program directors.
