Education Office

The Education Office (EdO) is one of the Professional Services units at SSE. We are currently 57 staff members working in EdO. We function as a Hub in the SSE journey. We provide and develop professional academic support for all stakeholders and students (BSc, MSc, PhD) during their SSE journey. It includes assessment, program management, scholarships, international collaborations, and quality measurements, academic support, central course and exam coordination, degrees, and certificates.

Role description

As the CEMS Program Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the academic programs and administrative tasks related to CEMS programs at the Stockholm School of Economics. You will be responsible for promoting and managing CEMS programs, handling student admissions, and coordinating exchange studies. You will be part of two teams: Program Managers and Global Initiatives.

Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Study information guidance for students
  • Admission of students (including occasionally participating in recruitment)
  • Exchange study coordination (both outgoing and incoming)
  • CEMS community contacts and developments – CEMS Global Office and Partner Universities
  • Participating in the intentional meetings for CEMS Program managers. Travels occur
  • Coordinate CEMS courses (including evaluation) to work smoothly for students
  • Organizing CEMS Block Seminar
  • Organizing events (kick-off, welcome sessions, mingles etc., approximately 4-6 events per year, working evening and weekends can occur)
  • Maintain students’ study records
  • Preparing/Issuing the CEMS diploma and certificates

Qualifications:

  • An academic education
  • Experience working with international students and knowledge of international study programs and exchange programs.
  • An understanding and interest in higher education
  • Experience in networking, enjoying communicating with students, faculty and staff
  • Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, in English
  • Proficient communication skills in Swedish
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a range of stakeholders

Meritorious:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience or interest in event planning and coordination
  • Experience managing student records and education-related documents
