The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is seeking highly motivated and skilled Research Assistants/Teaching Assistants to support ongoing and upcoming research projects across the school. This role is ideal for early-career researchers who want to strengthen their analytical skills, contribute to high-quality academic work, and gain hands-on experience in empirical research.
Research at the House of Innovation covers a broad spectrum of topics within management, economics, and organizational studies. Projects explore areas such as organizational change, leadership, strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, and the impact of digital technologies and AI on business. Other work focuses on corporate governance, family firms, sustainable business practices, operations, supply chains, and marketing.
Researchers at SSE use a wide variety of methods. Qualitative approaches may include field observations, interviews, archival studies, or focus groups. Quantitative work often relies on surveys, econometric analysis, experiments, and statistical modeling. Data-driven techniques—such as machine learning, text analysis, and large language models (LLMs)—are increasingly central to projects examining digital transformation and complex organizational phenomena.
Recruitment is conducted on a rolling basis. You can provide details about your skills and research interests in the application form, and you will be contacted only if faculty members identify a strong match between your profile and their project needs. Working hours, duration, and starting dates may vary by project. We are not able to answer any questions regarding individual application status.
The information provided in the application will be verified.
